Writing & Theater Arts: Bringing Stories to Life
In this imaginative and adaptive class, children will learn how to create, express, and perform stories using writing, drawing, movement, music, and theater. Each session guides students through the elements of narrative - characters, setting, plot, and dialogue - while encouraging them to express their ideas through dramatic play, art, and performance.
Whether acting out a scene, illustrating a story, or composing dialogue, students will build core skills in writing, storytelling, and creative expression. With opportunities to collaborate and perform, kids will gain confidence in their voice and discover the fun of turning their ideas into engaging, expressive works of art.
Children will:
Learn to structure and write stories and characters
Explore storytelling through drama, music, movement, and visual arts
Build and develop foundational communication skills
Work individually and collaboratively to develop short performances
Gain confidence through creative expression and presentation
This class is perfect for children who love to tell stories, invent characters, perform, or explore new ways to bring their imagination to life. No reading experience required, just creativity and curiosity!
