Wild Explorers: Outdoor Hiking, Nature Skills & Community Adventure

Wild Explorers is an inclusive program for children, teens, young adults, and adults that combines hiking, nature exploration, outdoor skills, and community engagement in a fun and supportive environment.

Participants explore local trails and natural spaces while developing confidence, independence, environmental awareness, outdoor safety skills, leadership, problem-solving abilities, and healthy recreation habits.

Activities include:

  • hiking

  • mock camping and tent setup

  • navigation and landmark recognition

  • wildlife observation

  • nature journaling and photography

  • mindfulness exercises

  • environmental stewardship

Through hands-on outdoor experiences, participants strengthen balance, coordination, spatial awareness, self-regulation, decision-making, and community participation skills while building a deeper connection to nature and the world around them.

Pricing

Small Group Classes (3-4 children): $150 per class
Semi-Private Classes: $200 per class
Private Classes: $250 per class

Pricing is based on a 60 minutes class, but can be prorated if your child would benefit from a class with a shorter duration.
