In this expressive and engaging class, children will explore new ways to communicate through the dynamic combination of modern dance and American Sign Language (ASL). Using movement and gesture, students will learn how to express ideas, emotions, and stories, expanding both body awareness and visual language skills.

Each class blends simple ASL vocabulary with creative movement exercises, helping children connect physical expression with meaning in a fun and accessible way. We’ll dance, sign, and explore rhythm, space, and storytelling, inviting kids to discover how movement and language can work together as powerful tools for communication.

This class is perfect for any child who enjoys dancing, expressing themselves physically, or is curious about learning new ways to connect with others. No prior experience in dance or ASL is required, just a willingness to move, play, and explore!
